Programs & Services

Since 2017, our organization has done our part to effectuate change in the scourge of homelessness throughout California by redistributing resources donated by Walmart and our Board. Targeting the largest homeless encampments in our Inland Empire community, we've donated tens of sleeping bags, tents, tarps and socks for our brothers and sisters living on the streets. We welcome new potential partnerships with our local merchants to be able to expand our program to redistribute a variety of needed resources such as PPE, Hygiene Kits, cleaning products, food and clothing.

Since 2020, we've supported our homeless community members preparing for a job interview or opportunity by selecting up to ten (10) homeless shelters and donating up to $2,000 worth of men's underwear, socks and hair and beauty products for the women. Further, we've provided sheets and bedding, given the importance of properly preparing and resting before a job interview.

Since our 1986 inception, we've provided tens-of-thousands of dollars in academic scholarships for collegiate students who attend or newly enrolled at a Historically Black Colleges and Universities and other four-year institutions. In recent years, we've provided approximately $20,000 annually in scholarships. However, we do intend to expand our donor base so we can ultimately increase the volume and amount of our scholarship awards.

Our Debutante and Cotillion - Leadership Program works to not only provide scholarship awards but to also enlighten our youth in the social, cultural and educational issues that may impact their lives. As a service-related program, we encourage their participation in community service and mentor them in true leadership, good health and wellness, and proper etiquette as young men and women.
