About Us:

The Inland Ivy Foundation was formed in 2012 as the charitable arm of Eta Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, (San Bernardino-Riverside, CA). The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit, 501(c)(3), public benefit organization, and is dedicated to community service, with emphasis on promoting education, health, cultural development and combating poverty in our communities. The Inland Ivy Foundation has a strong commitment to youth and educational enrichment, and provides mentoring to students at the middle school level and scholarships to assist those students who are entering college.  The fundraising activities of the foundation support these programs. The programs of the foundation also include on a local level, combating poverty, family strengthening, and health promotion.

The Inland Ivy Foundation is comprised of members of Eta Nu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and are college-trained, women representing all professions. They serve in a volunteer capacity by donating their time and expertise in carrying out the work required to implement the programs of the foundation.

The members continually identify needs and develop programs and projects which will enable us to provide educational assistance, promote awareness of health issues and prevention strategies, and provide needed services to the underrepresented and underserved in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, and specifically the Inland Empire. Through collaboration with partners and sponsorships we hope to further expand our outreach to those most in need.
